London is all about history. Everywhere you look it’s a collision of the very old and very new. We toured the Abbey.  Many famous people entombed there. I am not really sure why they thought that was a good use for a church… but that decision was made “while I was away on holiday”. Here are a couple illegal iPhone shots.. Please don’t turn me in to the authorities  Those British dungeons are heck.. 

Wow.. What a visit back in time. I was struck by the idea that much of history and art of mankind is marked by attempts at immortality outside of God. We were meant to live forever. The bible says eternity is written on our hearts. 

How do you loose a city ? An entire culture?  These ruins were discovered. Looks a bit Roman.. but they had their own language that is completely untranslatable. When God wants you forgotten.. your forgotten..
